I am sorry that I havent been posting these like i should. Thank you for keeping up with me via email and facebook… it takes a long time to upload videos on the blog so I have been posting some updates on facebook instead…. I appreciate your patience as I continue to get better at this blog thing.
All of your support has been amazing. There are days that are very difficult and I know that your prayers are what protects me and gets me through…. so thank you… and keep on praying!
Lets see. Where to start.
1) First start by praising God for all the things that he gives you. This is something that I have been doing and it has really changed my prayer life to one of worship and thanksgiving.
2) There is a heavy spiritual oppression in our ministry sight. It is this odd balance of God working and shining bright…. but every direction you turn you see another dark corner that you have to go spread it through. Which is awesome and why we are here… but the enemy, he lurks around that place… we are kind of like “ghost busters” but instead its darkness busters… we just bring light to the dark places through prayer, encouragement and teaching etc… but prayer against that… and just crying out to Papa for more light to be spread would be very helpful.
3) Some of you may already know that my health has not been that great the past week. I have had to skip out on a few days of ministry and stay in for half of the other days. It began with me feeling very weak, basically like i had the flu minus the vomiting. I thought it was an iron deficiency but after taking supplements and no improvement I went and got a medicine to flush out any parasites that might be attacking me… I have been taking that medicine for 3 days and am already feeling WAY better. I will be back on ministry sight today but please pray that my body continue to be restored to good health and that i can have a strong immune system…. God really helped me build up good health before I left and I know he will sustain me.
This is nothing weird here on the race. It is hard to imagine but malaria and parasites are kind of like the common cold here… so there is no reason for alarm or worry… It is simple. you rest, you take your medicine, you pray and you get better…. and I am way past the road of sick and on to the road of recovery!
4) Two of my most favorite people in the entire world got married yesterday, WOW! Lindsey and Joseph … It was really hard not being there to celebrate with them… but I would love it if you could send up a prayer for them as they start their new life together!
5)Lastly, please continue to pray for my support. It has been amazing to see God provide through people. All of you have given thank you. Please pray specifically about the coming week. An amazing supporter has offered to match up to $500 … we will be doing a drive from Wednesday 18th – Wednesday 25th… please pray that people will GIVE GIVE GIVE and also pray about maybe giving even another small amount to help me get as much money as possible to match. If you pray and think you want to give again… wait until Wednesday and I will post instructions on where to give in order to get your donation matched. Also those of you who feel called to give a larger amount… consider being a matcher… whatever I raise in the week… you can match up to a certain amount. More on this later… My team and I are hoping to get me fully funded before october 1st! I currently am in need of $5300 to be fully funded! god has provided $9000 so far, can you say WOW!!!!!
