HELLO!!!!
I am writing from the mall in Bucharest, Romania. We are heading out tomorrow for a very long journey to Malawi. I will be traveling from Romania, to Istanbul then to Dubai then to South Africa and finally taking a bus to Malawi where I will be for the first month. I am very excited to get to Africa. Anyone who knows me knows that I truly believe that a large reason God keeps me breathing and alive is for the continent of Africa so I am eagerly anticipating all the things the Lord will do in these next three months. Please pray for safety as 66 of us travel a very far distance to serve the people of Malawi and walk in obedience to the things the Lord is calling us into.
I am sorry for my lack of blogging last month. Month 4 is a toughy. The Lord begins to strip you of everything you have every considered your identity before. Your “crazy” life as a missionary becomes your norm. You start missing your family and friends back home in a different way, because you begin to embrace the family and friends that the Lord has provided. And then there is the God working in my heart part… I truly believe that this season for me in africa is going to be a LIFE CHANGING one. The Lord has revealed that Africa is my promise land. Crazy right… because it is not exactly what we think of when we think of promise land… but for me it is. THOUSANDS of people, children that need Gods love, his touch, his peace. The simplicity of life there… allows for no distractions, it is simple… you love others and you love god. You begin to truly walk out the will that God created us for… rejoicing always, praying without ceasing and praising God for all that we have. A life of worship because being alive is enough.
Please pray for my heart, that I can truly begin to let go of all that is left of any part of me that has been formed by this world, that I can become more and more a manifestation of Christ… so that He may be glorified. Also pray for boldness… and for more and more of the Spirit of God to move through me as I fight to deny my flesh. I want him to strip me of everything that I am, and regrow the parts that are of Him.
In the picture above, someone caught this… and I am rubbing my ring… my ring says… NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. Some of you know that I am hoping for lots of miracles in this time… heart transformation, healing of Aids babies, captives to be set free…. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE… pray that for me!
I do have to let you in on a little business!! I am not yet fully funded. I have until January 1st to be fully funded which is great because I only have $1500 to raise! AWESOME! Thank you Lord for provided SO MUCH so far. Thank you for each of you who have provided faithfully, giving up things, sacrificing so that I can go and be God’s hands and feet. I am asking for one more push. Please think of anything you or someone you might be able to do in these next few months… I am almost there…

I was thinking about it the other day… I have traveled over 150 hours… and including my journey to africa will have brought the peace of Jesus with my feet to over 9 countries. I have encountered HUNDREDS of people, prayed for THOUSANDS, HUGGED HUNDREDS, and your donations ARE making a difference in the world. I know it made a difference for 76 children in Haiti, an entire slum in Dominican Republic, a village in Moldova, especially Petro 🙂 and two college campuses in Romania… so thank you thank you.

I need your help in this. Your faithful prayer and commitment to make this happen. I will not have internet these next few months.
