I have so much to tell you and I have only been gone for three days.
My team is being sent to Haiti for the first month. We will be in an orphanage which you all know is an absolute perfect fit for me! I am so so excited. I will write you more about it and the ministry I will get to do when I get there.
We have been recovering from travel and preparing more and growing as a team these last few days. Today we had some downtime on the beautful beach. At the beach I got to pray for a cripple man. It was an awesome experience and he felt that God was comforting him and he could feel his presence.
So far we have basically gotten to love and share God with everyone we have come across. My team is amazing and God has blessed us. We were walking and just trying to figure out what the heck God wanted from us for the day and we ended up having a huge block party with an entire street. We built some special relationships while there.
In true God in Rachels life fashion. One of the smallest kids clung to me and didnt let go. Here is a picture of her. Her name is Reyna she is 4. She cried yesterday when I left… it made me sad, but I am in such awe of how much God can do in relationships like that despite the distraction that I am a gringo and despite the language barrier.

Love you all so much! Please pray for safe travels as we travel to Haiti tomorrow. I think it is a ten hour bus ride for us. BTW while I am here I am only an hour time difference!
