Here are some of my experiences so far.

Walking and hearing what sounds like your head is in a bee
hive turns out to be hundreds of thousands of flies.

Watching the sunset over gorgeous mountains.

It always smells like you stepped in dog poop but it is
actually just the GIGANTIC pigs down the hill.

Having pop tarts for snack at school everyday.

Sweating even when you are doing nothing.

Walking 15 minutes to one of the most beautiful beaches I
have ever seen.

Eating some of the best food I have ever tasted in my life.
Thank you sister Rose.

Hearing a bear crawling through the bushes but turns out it
is only a huge lizard rustling through the dry grass.

Being surrounded and nipped at by 10 dogs at a time.

Spending 1 and ½ hours to download one email.

Waking up at 530 every morning… just like home during
school.

Being principal of summer school on my 3rd day.

Waiting for the water to be refilled in order to flush the
toilet. Praise God that we have toilets here!

Being interrupted by a hungry donkey, horse or dog during
quiet time up the hill.

“Cows” eating my clothes. (They are missing and nowhere to
be found. This was what the little girls told me happened)

Washing my clothes with water that is also home to tadpoles!
And then waiting 3 days for them to dry because it rains every time you do your
wash.

Getting to hug 60 of the most beautiful children every day.
