We arrived safely in Santo Domingo. All of us here, with our bags and all! the weather is nice, and it really reminds me of costa rica or mexico at first glance. We are staying at a very nice and secure compound and even have beds and fans! We will be here until Friday for our initial briefing and then we will split the squads into two groups, one to Haiti first and the other will stay and then we will switch at the end of the month. The keyboard is getting stuck and it is taking me a while to write this. I am feeling great and it is so great to see my team!!!
More Later… we have 48hours with no outside contact as part of our training so will talk to you sometime after that.
