Con permiso: Excuse me with permission.
A polite spanish phrase I picked up during my travels, that I've grown very fond of.
Lately I feel the need to say it a lot.
The first reason I'd like to say con permiso: because I have been completely radio silent towards you, towards this blog…
Y'all need updates and I have been a little less than satisfactory at upholding my end of the deal. This is partially because my computer decided to fry end of month one, I've had a bit of writer's block lately, and because I have been trying to set up perminant residence in a hospital…. (Get ready for all the crazy Jesus moments I have stored up in my brain for the past 3 months, it's going to be one after another)
The second reason I'd like to say con permiso: because Jesus blows my mind on a daily basis and I'm in the business of needing to admit it…
He preforms what I believe are everyday miracles and keeps amazing me. I love Him, He rocks, and He is so good to me!
The third reason I'd like to say con permiso: because it's just so dang polite…
I absolutely love it! Think about the kind of looks you would get if you went into any supermarket in America and said "Excuse me with permission" to people, instead of whatever we do here, just think about it!
So yeah, con permiso, a new treasured part of my vernacular.
