Well, after a 15 hour flight from LA to Tai Pei, leaving my beloved passport on the plane and making a dash back and retrieving it from the crack in my seat right before the plane took off BACK to LA, riding another plane from Tai Pei to Bangkok for almost 4 hours, arriving at the airport to find the people who were supposed to have a bus waiting for us NOT having a bus waiting for us and scrambling to fit all of us in covered trucks for a one hour ride TO the bus station to ride a bus for 13 hours from Bangkok to Phuket…the race has officially started, and I couldn’t be more fatigued/excited :o)
This blog is mainly a HUMUNGOUS (is that a real word???) THANK YOU to my SUPPORTERS, you all have NO idea how much you mean to me and how much you are going to affect the Kingdom of God, because I am real SERIOUS about my mission for this year! You all have literally enabled me to be God’s Hands and Feet, and I couldn’t be more grateful…I wish I could list all of your names, but you are all in my mind and heart. Both my sister and I have received gifts of everything from money, to yard sale donations, to my awesome camera (thanks Gary!), to items from REI (thanks Mom and Dad!), to my stellar swiss army knife (thanks Markie!), to my stuffed monkey’s world race t-shirt (thanks Liv!), to loaning a truck for yard sale/box/furniture transport (thanks Mark!), loaning out their garage and time for our yard sales (thanks Renee and parents and the Davis’s!), to paying NO rent for 6 months to save money and pay off bills (thank Jenny and Ben and Mom and Dad!), to taking over my World Vision children’s monthly support (thanks Andrea!), wow, I could go on…you know who you are and I simply say thank you! If all of my monthly donations continue throughout the year, I will only need about $3,300 more to be fully funded! Wow praise Jesus! I LOVE you all SO much! The most incredible thing you all can give above everything else is continued prayers for our entire squad, and specifically my team members: Courtney Buckner, Alison Ingle, Katy Gurley, and Kimberly Brown, check out their blogs throughout the year as well!!!
