So…this was supposed to be posted
during training camp, however it was not, obv. :o) Training camp was beautiful,
beautiful to see EVERY person SOLD out for Jesus Christ, beautiful to
experience authentic worship, beautiful to be exposed to SOLID Biblical
leaders, beautiful to meet my incredible squad, learn who my God appointed team
mates would be, experience a different diet, a different environment, learn
more about God’s sweet love for little ole’ me…Beautiful. Lately I have been
discouraged…my spirit is willing, but my flesh is weak, and the devil is on the
prowl for certain.  When I talked to a friend
tonight, she said that typically when the devil starts to attack, God is about
to move in a BIG way, so I am going to HOLD ON!!! :o)

I also wanted to tell you all about
a dream I had the other night, nothing elaborate, but I thought very
interesting. I dreamed of a translucent almost blue/silver tinted rain drop (a
really BIG one) falling from the sky and landing in Thailand (seriously), the “splatters”
were shining white and moved/slid slowly though out the land. I am the type of
person that dreams very vividly and can usually remember most of my dreams, so
I wrote this down in my journal when I got up. I think the shining splatters
represented our squad, bringing light to the land, it was lovely!!! AND the
other night (I am not making this up…by the way) I felt as if I heard God say
this (in a sense): “Rachel, stop scratching at many different parts of the
Bible and start DIGGING, you will never get any DEEPER in the Word unless you
return to the places you have been “scratching” and start digging.” It may also
have something to do with the fact that I recently purchased a book called “Digging
Deeper” (into His Word), but I also think it was “said” in my dream to mean
something. God is a mystery, He is “Deep Water” and the more you dig the deeper
you go and so on. I love you all and can’t believe November is almost halfway
over

Remember amidst the often “chaos” preparing
for this race is…He is our RESTING place, He is our comfort, He is our
encourager, He is our faithful One, He is our CONSTANT One.

My BEAUTIFUL team mates!!! Dove’s Eyes:o)
