To The Ones I Love,
Greetings from the other side of the world! I’m sending you lots of love + hugs… I miss you guys! But Papa has been so good to me. He has
blessed me the past few weeks by letting me feel your love and prayers.
I am walking into this next month full of
encouragement, confidence and peace.
Good News:
I made
it safely to Moldova with all 50-A-Squad-racers! Yay!!! We were
dispersed throughout the nation on Friday to our different ministry sites. So we’ve invaded the whole nation with the light and hope of Jesus.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to each of my
supporters. Your partnership with the
Father has been the only thing to make this missions experience a reality.
I stand completely humbled and honored by your continued support. I am about 62% of the way to the overall financial goal; with my next deadline on Dec 1, 2011. Truly…I
am blessed beyond measure.
Be encouraged! Together we are advancing the Kingdom, impacting
lives and changing the world!
It’s now month two. We’ve moved into the winter
season and are living in the poorest country in Europe. Things look a little
different than last month. Our stay in Romania didn’t come with a lot of “uncomfortables….”
we had access to toilets, showers, a kitchen, beautiful weather and wifi.
This month everythingchanged.
All 19 of us- team Anchors of Hope + team WALDO
+ team Perissuo all pilled in a bus and headed for the village of Cornesti a
few days ago. Talk about a “real missions experience.” Never again
will I take for granted a winter coat, socks, heat, sinks, showers, running
water, electricity, toilets, cups, shoes, toilet paper, washers, dryers, and
personal space. I’ve had to learn pretty
quickly to wake up and surrender everything. All my rights, expectations and
ideas of what I think a “normal” day
should look like.
This month, we’re excited to serve Vitalie, our
new pastor friend from Cornesti. We will come alongside his vision, passion and
heart for Emanuel Church and Sinai30 ministry.
There are three aspects to the ministry:
spiritual, social and financial. Within those are different projects that we’ll
be working on for the month. The main focus will be creating a web-site for the
organization, making clothing and building relationships with the orphaned
children of The Shelter. The Shelter is part of the social ministry that works with children who have been saved from human
trafficking.
I am very, very, very, excited! A passion of
mine is to see the bondage of modern day slavery completely stopped and to be here working to
fight against human trafficking is a dream come true!
The other day some of us were working hard on
the farm picking the harvested vegetables; green peppers, tomatoes, cabbage etc. We started singing a song of declaration over
the village of Cornesti and suddenly had an “ah-ha” moment.
We are fighting human trafficking!
By helping on the farm- we are supporting the
local market- which contributes to the financial needs of Siani30- which will
bring profit to the organization-which will be used to support The Shelter-
which fights human trafficking! Thank you Jesus! You are Faithful and moving in
Cornesti!
Please be praying for our stay here:
1. —Teams to operate under a spirit of
unity
2. — Spiritual, physical and emotional
health of our teams
3. — Vitalie and his family + orphaned children
4. — Favor over the ministry + open doors
+ new partnerships
Thank you for praying!
Vitale said today, “the war has already been won but there are still many
battles to be fought, and it’s done through prayer.” You can have confidence to enter the secret place of the Most High and have a conversation with the Creator of the universe! He is your Heavenly Dad, He hears you, you have a voice and He longs to hear it! [Hebrews 11]
Grace+Peace
P.S. I will be eating beaver this month…(???..sigh)…
I will let you know how it goes.
