dude! how often we make plans and God stirs the pot and mixes things up a bit. this is exactly what He is doing with me. as you all know, i was planning to go on a mission trip in september with the world race for 4 months to 4 countries: India, Thailand, and Cambodia to serve the women and children that are victims of human trafficking.
when all the sudden i got a call from a staff member of the world race extending an invite to me to join the longer route: 11 countries in 11 months! wow! what's crazy is over the past couple of weeks i found myself already preparing for this leap of faith by pondering thoughts of committing longer, selling my car, and moving out of my house. so after lots of prayer, counsel, and confirmation i will be joining the september-2 squad for 11 months.
this isn't a closed door but an even greater opportunity to serve. i am STOKED! God continues to literally blow my mind (in a good way) at how good of a Dad He is. this trip lines up with the desires of my heart even more than the original route.
we will still be living out of a backpack and tent all year, still be traveling to INDIA, THAILAND, & CAMBODIA, still loving on victims of sex slavery….as well as going to UKRAINE, ROMANIA, NEPAL, TANZANIA, UGANDA, RWANDA, ASIA & MALAYSIA serving the forgotten, child soldiers (another form of human trafficking), widows, gypsies, we'll also visit hospitals, orphanages, spread the gospel, and live among the poor in authentic community.
the total cost of the trip has changed due to being on the field 7 months longer. there are several deadlines that have to be met for this to become a reality. please consider partnering with me through finances. everylittle bit helps but i have come up with some potentional financial calculations to help me reach my overal goal. i have reached my first deadline but still need
