Hey World!

I have been off the grid for a bit but I’m back.
Here are a few highlights from the past couple weeks/my time in Nepal:

trekking all around the Himalayan mountain range
riding on top of buses around tiny curvy mountain roads
seeing a waterfall for the first time and dancing under it
meeting a shepard who gave me a handful of mustard seeds
sharing the gospel with people who had never heard of Jesus
hanging out with villagers
casting out oppression
holding baby goats
being stretched physically
investing in relationships
showing films about Jesus
playing with village kids
killing our dinner and then eating it
demonstrating God’s power by praying for physical healing
seeing people experience God in completely new ways
getting pretty good at talking with my hands to foreigners
participating in random spontaneous dance parties
eating incredible amounts of rice and lentils
waking up with chickens in our bed
preaching at a Nepale church

Yesterday marked the end of Nepal and the beginning of India. Although I experienced some sadness to leave Nepal, I am stoked to be in India. I can feel Jesus’ grace and peace carrying me as the transition from month 3 into month 4 takes place. My heart is fully alive and embracing the process.

Jesus has been super sweet to me lately, taking me to deeper places of His heart and romancing me with nature. He's also been showing me a lot about loving without expectations, overcoming the fear of man, breaking down defense mechanisms and walking in the fullness of Who He says I am. How crazy that each morning He wakes me up with more grace and more mercy. Allowing me to tangibly see more of His Joy, more of His goodness, more of His grace, more of His peace, more of His provision and more of His Love through the people around me despite poverty, brokenness, pain, sorrow, death, heart break, persecution, doubts, fear and questions. He is so good.
