i grew up believing that being a missionary was a job title or description
that it was something left to "professionals" to get done
that preaching the gospel was about getting people into heaven
or praying the "romans road" to recieve salvation
is this really what it's about?
people doing a job to help someone get to heaven when they die?
how does this really change life now?
where is the abundant life Jesus talks about in John 10:10?
where is the adventure?
i believe that Jesus intended all believers to be missional minded. look at His and the disciples ministry. they went from town to town proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven was near. preaching. teaching. healing. loving. they weren't just doing a job. it was their life. who they were at their core.
so…every christian called to be missional?
i think so.
maybe your calling isn't international missions
but is being MISSIONAL restricted to overseas?
what about right where you are now?
isn't that what this is all about.
partnering with the Spirit to bring more of His Kingdom here & now
being the sons and daughters we were created to be?
i challenge you to be missional right where you are.
Papa God and the Spirit want to use you!
they do, i promise!
will you join them?
it's not something you do
but WHO YOU ARE
