Blessing! The Lord has blessed me in so many ways. I may not know what exactly that means right now, but I know support is going to come in! I know the Lord has given me everything I need for this trip and more! Finances are in short supply, but they will come in! I’m not worried about it, because of the fact that I know I’m called to go on The World Race. That means if I’m supposed to do it, then it will happen. I have nothing to fear!
Last Tuesday, August 2nd, I could not shake frustration off myself. I couldn’t do it (alone). I had some recent conversations with friends and family that had made me very upset. However, the Lord took it away! Surrender was huge! As soon as we surrender our things, the Lord is going to speak. If we are willing to lay down our rights, pride, selfish ambition, life over to the Lord, He will give us more of Him.
As soon as I let go of my junk, support ideas kept flowing in. I was writing them down, but I can’t remember half of them because I didn’t get to write them down. So much blessing! I heard call this church and call that one, do this, do that and then finish with this! Um, okay?! I don’t really do not like speaking in front of people I know, usually. However, this was way different. I was okay with saying “Yes, Lord!” I called the churches I was told to call and I’m speaking at their services! It just reminds me that if we ask the Lord for something, He’s going to give it to us if we need it. The Lord wants to bless us, so I have felt very blessed in this.
Since I’m talking about support ideas, I’ll just throw it out on here! One of the ideas was an Ice Cream Social. 🙂 How convenient-an ice cream social the week before school starts and during heat! Who doesn’t want ice cream and it goes to support what God is going to do overseas?! If you are free, come join us! Also, please pray that this would be a huge success. I kind of already know the Lord is going to touch people through it, but more prayer can’t hurt! 😉
