I just wanted to fill you all in on something…I am currently at $4,445.60. I am blown away by how much people have given and how quick it has happened. I was in the process of raising support for Peru last year and the process seemed like it took forever. I only needed to raise $4,200. However, God definitely brought in every penny needed for the trip and I was able to go without fear of not having the support in my account. I know God is faithful and will bring me the finances I need for this one as well. I say that, but I’m also showing figures here. I only need another $1,545.40 to leave in September!
- $6,000-needed 2 weeks prior to launch (September 1st, 2011)
- $10,500-needed 3 months after launch (December 1st, 2011)
- $14,800-needed 6 months after lauch (March 1st, 2012)
I know this sounds kinda extreme to be talking about the money I need for March of next year already, but I would really like to be fully supported before I leave in September. That way I can have my heart fully present in the people I will meet and what God is going to do through us, as a squad. *I am also trying to raise supporters who are interested in giving monthly anywhere between $25/month-you pick, the decision is yours.*
In case ya’ll are asking, how else are you going to raise support, here is the answer. I’m am selling Threads of Hope bracelets (few blogs ago) and also T-shirts from Fund the Nations. The T-shirts are $20/shirt and are really awesome! 🙂 They list our route on the front and then a bible verse in the languages of the countries we are going to on the back.
