Let me begin by proclaiming my love for Swaziland.

I absolutely LOVE it here!

I believe I live in thee most beautiful place in all of Swaziland, and that's actually how our contact describes where she lives.

My new team, my old team and another team that I partnered with in Nicaragua are all living together on top of a mountain surrounded by more mountains while overlooking a river not too far off. This place is definitely a new favorite; I already know that with being here for one week.

We have total freedom in our schedule, in our menu and even have options of what we want to do for ministry each day!

And did I mention that I have my own clinic this month? I have complete automony with my very own patients, plus have the freedom to say "I don't know" without making anyone upset.  I have a translator to help me with my open clinic hours on Tuesday and Thursday.  When it was slow on Tuesday, Julie taught me how to crochet and told me about her 10 children.

Needless to say, I enjoy all of my time spent there.

Other ministry options include digging a French drain–a fancy term for "a pit that poo goes in" (Brant's explanation to me), helping out at the babies home where the children range from 1 year to preschool (so simply loving on them and playing with all the kiddos, helping feed them, as well as do physiotherapy with 3 of the young ones who physically and mentally underdeveloped), tutoring/ assisting kids ranging from 1st-7th grade with homework, digging out a wooden playground with pickaxes and heavy metal bars/ rods and moving it 1/10 of a mile, plus we have taken over the Sunday church service (per the request of our contact to give her a break) as well as help lead chapel for the children every night, which includes singing, sharing a story/ doing a skit and closing with a prayer.  [True confession: I LOVE acting in our impromptu skits 🙂 –thus far I've been a fish caught by the disciples and Abednego in the fiery furnace].

I feel so blessed again this month.  I am thanking the Lord daily for this revitializing time!

Thank you to everyone for helping make this possible through giving financially and for those praying for me continually!

Much love to you all & I'll see you in less than 2 months! July 30th will be my first day back on American soil 🙂 So I hope to see you all throughout the month of August!

Until then, please be praying for the children here at El Shaddai, that they would know the Lord and His great love–it is a Christian facility, but it is clear that He does not have all of their hearts/ they haven't experienced the Father's great love yet.  Pray that we would have strength and endurance to work hard and serve our contact and these children to the best of Our (us + Christ) ability.  Also, pray for the many lost people surrounding us here in Swaziland, witchdoctors and child sacrifice are issues here, as well the men not treating the women here well (many men here also have multiple wives).

ps. Sorry no photos; the internet in Swaziland is painfully slow..
