Training camp came to a close almost 2 weeks ago now.

It was one FULL week, really good, but very full. Full of thoughts, feelings, emotions, conversations, introductions, stories, messages, adapting, entering into the unknown & waiting… & waiting.. & waiting for more direction, more clarification, more information, more of an understanding of what He has in store for this year.

I am still waiting on a lot.

I have a feeling than this is just the start. A lot is going to happen and change during this year and I have to wait and find out what it is going to look like and require.  My boyfriend refers to me as a diligent planner.  I told him that I enjoy being spontaneous too! But I know deep down that I am a planner. I don't go anywhere without my agenda. I am constantly making lists. On any given day, you can probably find at least 4 different to do lists in my possession.. I can't get rid of the list until I complete it. I have a feeling that that is one area in which the Lord is going to transform me.

It definitely feels like I have known some of the people off my squad for much more than 7 days.. and others off my squad, I still have to be reminded of their names.. 65 people. (That's a lot of people! & normally I'm pretty good with remembering names!)

I had some really great conversations, felt known & loved and was prayed for & spoken truth over.

And there are also many people that I have connected with yet, or had conversations of much substance with, but I hope that changes with time!

The days at training camp felt soooo long…. We started at about 6 am everyday as we had to have everything packed and be ready to workout at 7 am every morning.  We usually went until at least 10 pm at night, but I think the earliest I ever got to bed was after 11 pm. So I was running low on energy toward the end of the week.. This made me wonder about how the race will feel…

I pray that the Lord would sustain me & I'm hoping that it will be a more live-able pace.  On day six of camp I wrote "I feel like training camp was closer to a sprint when I was expecting a 5k run. I feel like in these next/ last 6 weeks in the U.S. for a while, I need to train for a marathon & be ready to sprint in there too!"

***My second deadline of $6,500 is August 15th. Praise the Lord that I only need another $768 in order to reach that!***

If you want to help support me financially, you can mail a check with "Rachel Lamb" on the memo line to Adventures in Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta, GA, 30353-4470 (ASAP please! since checks can take up to 2 weeks to process) OR you can donate online through my blog by clicking on the Support Me link in the upper left side of the screen and complete the donation as instructed (That only takes a few days to process, but it does deduct a 3-5% processing fee).

THANK YOU!!

Those are the six beautiful people that I will be doing everything with! Please pray for my team!
