Day one of our ministry in the Dominican Republic, one of our teams prayed for a woman who was sick with a fever and when they had finished praying, her fever had broken and she felt better.

On day two, the pastor my team has been working with saw that Tiffany, my team leader, had been stung by a jellyfish and told her about a little girl in the village who had been severely burned by a candle on Christmas day. She asked if anyone else had skin problems, so my new teammate Hope went with them because she had a heat rash. As they were praying for this little girl, Tiffany’s arm stopped hurting and Hope’s arms have been completely healed! (Please pray for the continual healing of the little girl, whose name is Yakaity, as she is still in a lot of pain and her burns have become infected.)

Day three of ministry, another team met a woman in a nearby village who told them that she had a dream about a group of Americans coming to visit her, and after she woke up, their team arrived. She brought them to her house pray with her and encourage them that it is no accident that we are here.

There are many more in the area who need healing and encouragement. But God is doing such big things already; I am blown away! This is only half of the story; I’m sure our teams who are spending this month in the mountains are also having incredible experiences. And this is only the beginning!
