Because of you…
I have been able to get transportation to over four countries! This includes everything from 6-hour plane rides from Peru to El Salvador, a 20-minute flight from El Salvador to Nicaragua; 8 hour bus rides from Ecuador to Peru and Nicaragua to Honduras, four hour bus rides on our “fun days” to the beach or to Baños, Ecuador, transportation to and from ministry sites, and taxi and bus rides around various cities such as Quito and Lima.
We were able to stay in nice, safe houses for the first 3 months, and stay in nice hostels during squad debriefs. This month we are sleeping in our tents.
We have been able to purchase important supplies such purified bottled water, bleach, and toilet paper to keep us clean, healthy and relatively free from cholera and other such fun things. We were also able to hire a translator in the Dominican Republic to accompany us to our ministry site.
We have been well-fed and eaten everything from macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, pancakes, ice cream and pizza to local foods (mostly consisting of rice, beans, chicken, vegetables, fruits), and try delicacies such as intestine soup and guinea pig.
We have been able to bless our ministry contacts with goodbye presents to thank them for all they have done for us.
I have been able to share God’s love with children on the streets of the Dominican Republic, students at a school in Ecuador, youth at a church in Peru, and teenagers on the farm here in Honduras.
It’s been an amazing four months learning about who I am in God and sharing his love with the people we have ministered to. I know I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for all the prayer and financial support!
I less than $4,000 to go until I am fully funded! I need to have $14,300 either in my support account or pledged as a monthly donation by June 1 or I will be sent home. This gives me less than 2 months to raise $4,000. I have not been worried thus far about finances and am trusting God to provide.
What you can do:

100 people giving $5 a month for the next 8 months
