Just some encouragement along the way.
Visions today… it was a really good day. The Holy Spirit was a working and I was soaking it up!
First Vision came when we were singing a worship song… which had the words… “Jesus He can move the mountains, My God is Mighty to Save… He is Mighty to save…. Forever Author of Salvation, He rose and Conquered the Grave
, Jesus Conquered the Grave!”
So the moving of Mountains… it was like a saw this Rambo movie clip, where Jesus rummaged through the mountains and pushed them aside to get the captive… to set the captive free. An effortless sweeping aw
ay of the “brush” in His way, as if a soldier in the jungles, clearing away the branches that were annoyances, or in His way to get to the ones captured. He moved the mountains as if they were annoying little twigs in the way to then reach down and grabbed the captive (us / me) by the hand.
The second one was of a phrase in another song that said something about a “Trail of Glory”… I saw again a movie picture… it was actually like a scene in an X-man movie where a guy turned to liquid and was leaking everywhere… ever step he took there was a trail of puddles. What I saw was us (our group) walking in the Glory of the Lord and leaving this wet trail of Glory behind us… like sloppy wet foot prints… and there were people walking behind us wearing shoes that were like sponges, or cloth like… SOAKING UP THE TRAIL OF GLORY!
WOW… AGAIN! AMAZING.
Then the third came when I was praying with my “Triad” a group of three that pray together, encourage and support each other… Rocio Doyle and Helen Chalmers and I are in the (we coined it) TRENDY TRIAD… we laugh… Anyway.
Rocio had this scripture on her heart… Psalm 18:16-19
16 He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
he drew me out of deep waters.
17 He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
from my foes, who were too strong for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
but the LORD was my support.
19 He brought me out into a spacious place;
he rescued me because he delighted in me.
It talks about the Lord supporting us against our enemies who are strong. He of course is stronger… and we are to be encouraged, comforted and empowered to know He supports us in all. Rocio went on to say that He may not TAKE AWAY something that may challenge us or be extremely difficult for us to get through but He does support us.
What I saw was someone on a bench press and they were being spotted by God. That the thing they struggled with was not going to be immediately taken off of them, but in each pressing up motion God’s hand was guiding the bar, supporting the weight, making it a bit easier but allowing the muscles to be built. He was encouraging and close to the one on the bench. Here’s what I gather.
We’re in training.
He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. Psalm 18:34
PRAISE Jesus… for being the Rambo, the one to set the Captives Free, to be MIGHTY to Save…
Glory to God for allowing us the ability to overflow with Him… to leave a TRAIL OF GLORY for others to SOAK UP.
All Power Be to the Coach, Supporter… God the Spotter who Trains, Encourages, and Entrust us with SO MUCH…
What a GOOD GOD we have…
Do you need to be Rescued?
Do you need to Get on the Bench to train?
Or is it time to get off the Bench to GO OUT and USE those Spiritual Muscles He has built in YOU?
to a creative and vividly visual God of Visions…
