Meghs Story
This month we have been blessed with the sweetest contact. He is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. I love him like a Dad. He also has a very encouraging testimony of the power of Christ that I would like to share with you. This is a shortened version…
Megh grew up in a buddhist home. He practiced the ways of tradition. It was all he knew. He also lived a life full of fighting and was a drunkard. One day he remembers touching a certain idols nose to see if it was real. Of course it was made out of stone and didn't react. Shortly after he was walking one day and a friend picked up a Bible track that was laying on the ground. Megh read it through. It had the verse John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Seeds were planted in his heart. He had a dream that night that was full of light…bright white light like he had never seen before. Soon after he went back to the idols and tried talking to them. They didn't respond considering they are nothing. That day he pushed the idol and it fell over. He began to wonder why he prayed to something that would just fall over and not talk to him.
Megh carried that Bible track with him wherever he went for 3 years and when he was feeling down he would read it. In 1990 he traveled to a village and a friend invited him to church. He shared the same verse with Megh… John 14:6. Megh accepted Jesus as his Savior that day and gave his life to the work of Christ. Shortly after his wife also did!
Soon the persecution began. They were the only one in their entire village that were Christians. People would pound down his doors and come into his home and beat him up. His wife was kicked severly and they would pull her hair. They would even pour urine and spit on them. They still prayed for their enemies and remained faithful to our Savior Jesus.
Megh got a vision of digging in dirt continually and eventually heard from the Lord to start planting churches. He went to Bible classes and is now a pastor with 4 church plants. His parents and all but one of his 5 siblings became Christians. Please pray for the one that is still lost. Eventually most of he people that had been persecuting his family became Christians too…
They wake up early in the morning and get down on their knees and praise the Lord. We have family prayer night every night. They have an only son who is an annoited worship leader and we have the privilege of worshiping together. I have never seen JOY quite like this in a home. I love this family. They have shown us a servant heart and so much love I can't even describe it. I am learning so much. Please join me in prayer for Meghs family and his vision.

Building a new stage in the church!
I wish I could buy them a water heater because they have to wash in ice cold water in the winter and have no heat in the home. It is freezing. They also have no car. Right now they praying for more Bible tracks and Bibles to give away to spread the word. Please join me in prayer for this. <3
