Hola! I made it to Nicaragua!

After a few very sad last days in Strandfontein, Cape Town, South Africa, my squad and I made our way to Granada, Nicaragua to welcome our parents to the mission field! Both my mom and dad were able to come join me in ministry and experience a little of what the World Race looks like behind the pictures. It was an amazing week of fun, laughter, and hard work.

After the end of Parent Vision Week, my new team and I headed to our ministry location. I currently live in Managua, Nicaragua. Managua is a big city full of dust, tortillas, rice and beans, and lots and lots of sunshine. The people are amazingly friendly and will sometimes even offer us a fresh mango as we are walking to school.

For our last months on the Race, we are busy teaching two English classes, passing out tracts and sharing the Gospel in our neighborhood, showing Christian movies, helping to teach Sunday School at our local church, cleaning families’ yards, running a Saturday morning Bible school, and supporting the ministry of our Pastor in any way that we can.

In the mornings, we teach a class of 8-12 year olds at a school in an impoverished part of town. It is a lot of fun and a lot of noise 🙂 I feel so honored the God has entrusted me with those children to love. In the evenings, I help teach a beginners English class at the church. I love this class! It has been great to build relationships with these students.

God has so much for these last two months. I can’t wait to share with you all that He does in and through me by His Spirit! Thank you so much to all my supporters and all who have been praying for me throughout this journey. I stand in awe of what God has done so far. Thank you for obeying God’s call.

Specifically, you can be praying that God will guide me into what He is calling me to do in the next season of my life. You can also be praying that Pastor Eliab and his ministry will see more fruit than they ever have before! Lastly, be in prayer for our team that we will have endurance and be full of the Spirit in order to finish this Race well!

Thank you again for your prayers!
