Training camp is nothing like I expected it to be. It is hot, sticky, smelly and uncomfortable. Our hair is frizzy, our nerves are shot and our calves burn. However, the last four days have been full of COMPASSION, LOVE, EXCITEMENT, JOY, FAITH, FREEDOM, FELLOWSHIP AND ADVENTURE. The World Race itself is not an easy trip. There will be hardships, and there will be pain. There will be unhappiness, and there will be discord. However, both the Race and this time of training have one major thing in common: ONE AMAZING JESUS! I am loving this time here in the Georgia sun with my new family. I am loving the daily teaching and team building exercises. I am also loving my teammates. The men of God here are AMAZING, and the women of God are so supportive and inspiring! I am so thankful for all of your prayers and support (both emotionally and financially) and I hope you have fastened your seat belts for this ride, because it is about to get CRAZY UP IN HERE!!
Oh, and in case you were wondering, that is just raw chicken in the pan. We have had FAR weirder things in the last few days!
And don’t forget to sign up for my updates :)!!
