I am starting this whole “support raising” thing late in the season. I have 10 days to have $1000.00 in my support account, 49 days to have $7500.00 in my account, and about 80 days until I need $8000.00 in my account. While that may seem like a long time, that is in fact a very short amount of time.

However, I serve a BIG GOD. And not just any big God, but THE ONE AND ONLY BIG GOD. He is Jehovah-Jireh, the great provider, and He will not let me down. Somehow, someway, He will provide for the trip He has called me to.

As far as I see it, there are two things I will need to remember the next 80 days, and further on into the trip:

1. Where God guides, God provides.

2. God NEVER said it would be EASY, just WORTH it.�

And, Colossians 3:2 as well: “Keep your mind on things above, not on things that are on this earth.”
