Hi there!
Welcome to my blog!! I’ve never done this before and honestly, it feels a little weird but I’m excited to share my journey with you. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Rachel Carlson. This past May I graduated from Bethel University with a degree in Elementary Education. Currently, I am living in the St. Paul area and working as a server at a restaurant. After graduation, I knew I wanted to go abroad in some way, shape or form and when I heard about the World Race, I felt like God was calling me to go. A couple of my friends told me about their experience with the World Race, one had just returned and one was preparing to leave. I had never heard of the World Race before then but I was intrigued. In August of 2016, I will be leaving for 11 months, living in 11 different countries, serving our Lord. To say I’m excited is a huge understatement. I can’t wait. I know there will be good and hard times but I am thrilled for how God is going to work in me and through me during those times. These 11 months are going to be life and faith changing. Here’s to a new adventure and I am excited to share it with you!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.
Love,
Rachel
Below are a couple pictures to learn a little bit more about me!
Here is my family! From left to right we have my brother in law Ryan, my sister Hannah, me, my Dad Dan, my Mom Sarah, my sister Rebekah and my brother Peter. I am the youngest of the family and I think I have some pretty great role models to look up to!
