As many of you know we were supposed to be in Bulgaria, and I'm not supposed to be with my entire squad BUT…. I am here in Honduras with 57 people (my entire squad) near tegucigalpa! Our plans aren't set in stone, welcome to the world race! We took a plane from JFK in New York to Costa Rice and then boarded a bus which took us to Nicaragua for the night and we stayed in a hostel and then got back on a bus to travel to Honduras. We were SO excited to finally be here!
We are working with a minstry called "Zion's Gate" which helps young men who are coming off the streets and have struggled with addictions. they are also very involved in other aspects of the local community with a main focus on building relationships. So far I've been able to begin building relationships with some of the boys at the ministry and I'm looking forward to having amazing stories of how God is working in Honduras!
