Less than a month away until Launch date! I still don't know the exact date but should be finding out soon. As of right now it's sometime in the first few days of July.
Many people have been asking how I'm doing with support raising so here's the status on it.
Right now I have $6,521 in my support account! Thank you to everyone who has helped me get this far!!
The amount I need by June 17th is 6,500 so I have reached that goal.
These are my deadlines:
$11,000 by October 1st
$15,500 (full amount) by Jan 1st
Note for monthly givers: As long as you have pledged an amount, say $47 a month until next May, then this is included in my total. I simply have to turn in a monthly donor sheet that says how much has been pledged. So if I only have $14,000 in my account by Jan 1st but have the rest of it pledged then I will have reached my goal.
Many of you have said that you are going to give and I thank you for that. It encourages me to know that more people are going to give and support me.
I do ask that if you are planning on giving, that you do it before the end of June just so I know where I stand with support and know what else I might need to do to reach my goal.
Once I leave it will be hard to raise funds. If you can't give right now but want to in a few months you can still do that.

ou can give online or by check. If you give online, 5% will be deducted for credit card fees. Giving by check ensures that the entire amount goes towards my trip.
Another way you can show support is by running in the Impact the World 5K that I am holding on June 18th. Please pass the info for it on to anyone who might be interested.
