This year I can’t even count how many times I’ve used this World Race trip as an example of the body of Christ working together.  The truth is, I couldn’t be here by myself.  YOU have supported me in numerous ways: giving financially, relentlessly praying, offering encouragement, and helping in whatever way possible.  There’s no way I could be here without all of that.  THANK YOU!!

These are things that were able to happen
in 11 countries because of your support and because you willingly gave in obedience to what the Lord asked of you.

Each of these ministries holds a special place in my heart after serving with them.  I don’t underestimate the impact any one of these things had on the people and places we served.  My prayer is that the Lord continues to work in ways that I can’t see long after I’ve served in these places.  Because of your obedience to God through giving and praying, these people and places I’ve come in contact with will never be the same because the Lord is working there.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me because…
the Lord has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor,
to bind up the broken hearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives,
andrelease from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion,
to bestow upon them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
