We’re about to hit the front lines of the battle. India is the front lines and tomorrow we’re heading in. We’re not just walking in, tiptoeing in, or casually strolling in. We are RUNNING into battle with full force because we know without a doubt that we have the VICTORY. Imagine going into war already knowing you’ve won. Imagine having full confidence that your army is going to have the victory.
That’s us.
We go in knowing that we’ll have struggles, it won’t always be easy, we might not win every battle, but in the end we know how it turns out. We have already won!
My squad leader, Garrett, was talking with us this morning about the armor of God in Ephesi
ans 6. We have the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, shoes of readiness, shield of fet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit that we are to wear in battle.
When we put this armor on, it’s too big for us. We can’t handle it byourselves. You know why? Because we’re not meant to handle it by ourselves. Our armor is meant to fit us when we have the Lord inside of us, going into battle with us. When we have that, we are ready for battle.
Or are we ready? What about our backs? None of this armor covers our backs. When we go into battle as a large army, our fellow soldiers have our back for us. I don’t need to worry about my back because my team is fighting right alongside me, protecting me and I’m doing the same for them. We wouldn’t leave each other in a battle because we need the support and protection from each other.
Tomorrow we head into India. We go in believing that when we leave, India will be CHANGED. We go in proclaiming that we have the victory in our hands. We’re praying big things over this country. That our army of 46 strong will go in and India will not be the same when we leave.
