Just got back from a couple day trip with my Outdoor Leadership senior seminar class at school.  It was a great relaxing time of fellowship and community.  There are eight of us in the class and most of us have been together for many classes the past few years and were together a year and a half ago for our Immersion semester of school where we lived together for several trips that semester.  That was a time of community living and working with each other for those few months.
This trip was our final one before graduation.  We stayed at a cabin, played games, did some bouldering and hiking, hung out, and took time for reflection.  It’s neat to see how we have all grown and learned over these past few years.  I know I’ve gained so much from being in Outdoor Leadership and I'll definitely miss many of the apsects of it such as community, fellowship, and experiential learning.  I know many of these  things I’ve learned will transfer to life on the race.  It's not over yet though- 2 more months!

Hanging out in the cabin playing some board games

We spent all day Friday bouldering at Rumbling Bald in North Carolina.  It's a sweet spot and it was a nice day to be outside.

Just a short hike up from the cabin where we were staying was a place where we could look out and see the entire valley.  A beautiful view.
