Aka THANK YOU!
Once again I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the support from everyone who has had my back this year.

I know that on days when I didn’t think I could finish, someone was praying that God would give me endurance to go the distance

Or when I was feeling discouraged, I would receive an email from someone with just the right words or verse that I needed to hear

Or on days when I was tired, someone was praying that I would be filled with energy

Don’t underestimate the power of your words or prayers.  I don’t know all the prayers that were spoken, but God heard every one.

The eleven months of the World Race are officially over for me and I'm back in America.  But the memories, relationships, adventures, lessons learned, and experiences will be with me for the rest of my life.

I came on this trip already founded in the Lord, having a relationship with Him and following Him.  Little did I realize how much deeper he wanted to take me and how much more He wanted me to experience.

I will say being in America has been interesting at times. Here's a few things that have happened since I've been back…

-I completely forgot about a dishwasher and washed all the dishes by hand one night.  I remembered hours later that there is a dishwasher in the house.

-I realized after buying a $4 bottle of water in the airport that the water here is safe to drink and there are drinking fountains everywhere. It's been a week and I'm still getting used to drinking from the tap

-For the first day or two anyone I heard speaking english I thought was a squadmate.  It makes sense when you think about it because the only people I've heard speaking english without an accent for a year are my squadmates.

I promise I'm not a complete stranger to the American ways…it's only been a year!

I’ll go ahead and answer the question that is looming over my head and that many are asking:
“What’s next?”

Right now, I don’t have any major plans.  I’ll be back in North Carolina for at least a couple months (thrilled to be the maid of honor for my best friend Rachel!), catching up with friends and family, enjoying life there, and processing through this last year.

I have a peace about my future, knowing that I’m right where the Lord wants me, so I’ll continue seeking Him and seeing where else He takes me on this never ending journey because it’s gonna be WILD, it’s gonna be GREAT, it’s gonna be FULL OF HIM.
