Through our weaknesses, He is strong. Through our stumbles, He is stable. Through our impatience, He is patient.

As an Adventures of Missions World Racer, we signed this cute little piece of paper that states we will give feedback to each other. With that we also are to be vulnerable with our team.

Fun fact: I would rather shovel cow manure for my entire life rather than be vulnerable with anyone. Not even the cows.

SO God has been tugging at my heart to be open and real with the people around me (aka my team). My team has been encouraging me to open up as well so it’s not just the Lord tugging at my heart.

Fast forward to our first debrief in Guatemala (7 weeks ago) and I’m sitting with my entire squad at a debrief session. A debrief consists of leadership from the states coming to pour into the squad. This is also a time of rest and Spirit filling.

One evening our coaches gave us a personalized letter that was written weeks ago from another squad who just finished the race. These racers were led by the Spirit to speak truth into our lives. So as I was handed my letter, these words jumped out at me…

Let your team into your head. Remember to love each member of your team individually.

WHAT?! WHO IS THIS CHICK?? Either she is crazy or the Spirit is crazy awesome! I decided it’s the latter you’re welcome Leslie ??

God is present. God is present. God is present.

He’s called the Living God because He is still active. He still speaks to us and through us. Maybe He will speak through the Bible. Maybe His creation. And yet maybe another person.

God is bigger than the McDonald’s to-go cup we place Him in. He ain’t no kids menu cup or a medium sized cup you get wit yo Big Mac. Heck! He ain’t even those ungodly sized cups of iced tea you can get.

So let’s peel the lid off that cup and let Him out.
