Training camp in June was eye-opening and life changing. God’s presence was there. He was in all and through all and He still is. Whenever I was searching for the feeling of God, He reminded me of my faith. My faith does NOT rely on a feeling of God’s presence but an understanding and knowledge He is always with me. God reminded me faith is believing without seeing.
While worshiping through song and prayer, I started praying for faces and names to be revealed to me of the people I will be in contact with. This was an odd prayer for me seeing I have NEVER prayed this way. Upon praying that prayer, God whispered…Anisha.
I scurried over to a table and grabbed anything I could write on. I didn’t want to lose this name He needed me to pray for.
Since training camp God has given me TWO more names! How awesome is He? I am constantly in awe of the surprising ways God works in my life. It all started with sitting in His presence and listening to what direction He needed me step.
Will I meet the names of the people He gave me? I hope so!
Will I be discouraged if I don’t meet these people? Not at all!
Here’s the thing….I am stepping out in faith believing in the names God has revealed to me. He needs me to pray for whoever they are and that is what I will do! If I do have the privilege of meeting these people, well…it will just be icing on the cake.
