I believe God prefers a bustling coffee shop or the local pub over an empty church building hands down. He loves people. He wants to be where the people are. Don’t limit where God can move. It doesn’t have to be a “spiritual setting.” You are the spiritual setting. You are his temple. You can choose in your mind to shut him behind the “church” doors, but when you do you’re limiting God and you’re giving an incorrect view of who Christ wants to be in our lives and the lives of others. He wants to be in relationship with us, and I don’t know about you, but my relationships happen everywhere at all times of day, and all days during the week.
