So most of you know that I really LOVE Shane and Shane, so the other night when I was laying in my bed here in NEW ZEALAND I thought I’d listen to some of their older stuff. I put on the carry away album and Be Near came on. I had forgotten how much I liked that song but when I was listening to it this time it stuck me differently. At first I was agreeing, yes be near oh god, my family is on the other side of the world, I’m tired and a little overwhelmed but then I listened on to more of the lyric.

and wonderful to trust in grace through faith but I’m asking to taste

I instantly resonated with these lines. OH lord I do need to hear from you. Not just to feel better or to get something but because I NEED IT. It is not only my good but my sustain.
