Vietnam is a very underrated country. It is so beautiful and I would love to return one day. It was a month filled with lots of down time, but with so much growth. The Lord knew I needed a month of rest as Cambodia has definitely been the complete opposite. Sorry this is so late, but here is what I learned in Vietnam.
11 Things I learned in Vietnam:
1. Community living is hard
2. Intentionality is important
3. Being open and honest is hard
4. The Lord is my comforter
5. Teaching is not for me
6. Utilize your time well
7. Vietnamese love their condensed milk
8. It is possible to live on World Race budget
9. Press in, even when you don’t want to
10. How to properly eat with chopsticks
11. Even when I am not seeking the Lord intentionally, he continues to seek and provide for me
