Cambodia was beautiful. I probably sweat my body weight out daily, but the people and the children made it all worth it. It was a month filled with laughter, celebrations, games and a ton of travel. This past month we got to call four different places home. We got to build relationships and help ring in the Cambodian New Year. Cambodian was a great month, but was also hard. This is extremely delayed and late, but here is what I learned in Cambodia.

11 Things I learned in Cambodia:

1. It is possible to sit in the shade with a fan blowing full blast and still end the day feeling like you took a shower.

2. That I am extremely blessed to be doing what I am doing

3. That I am successful, even if it isn’t the way the world views success

4. Following Jesus is not easy

5. That I am only going to get out what I give into these next 6 months

6. I can’t let fear hold me back

7. Podcasts are a saving grace, when English Church services are absent

8. Why have a water gun fight, when you can have a baby powder fight

9. How sponsored children are blessed in so many ways and loved by so many different people

10. Gas stations are a quality place to hang out, AC is a golden treasure they offer

11. When you are a foreigner, you can crash a wedding and be welcomed with open arms.
