Hey everyone!!!

The past two weeks, my squad and I were given the chance to travel down to DeQuincy, Louisiana and work with Samaritan’s Purse with hurricane relief from both Hurricane Lora and Delta and wow wow WOW, God is so good.

The amount of joy it brought all of us to serve those lovely homeowners is absolutely incredible and the relationships we built were even more so. Getting to talk to so many people like Miss Becky, Miss Donna, Billy and Deedee, Miss Mary, Miss Gerrie, Miss Lou and her son Tracey, and so many other people with so many stories, some including Jesus, some not. That was one of the most important things I learned, just talking to people, conversation.

You don’t realize how important conversation is. Conversation allows people to feel loved, important, valued. They can tell their story, their own individual story that no one else has experienced. Conversation is a beautiful way to connect and build deep, authentic relationships with the Lord’s children. Conversation can lead to the Father, it can lead to a life-changing decision of following Jesus! Imagine that! Imagine having just a simple conversation with a stranger and it leading to them wanting to know Christ? Imagine that!!!!!

These were the opportunities we were given in Dequincy, LA. These were the opportunities given to me here in the United States. These are the same opportunities you have at home, in your town, in your neighborhood. You just have to be willing to talk, to have conversation. Love people as Jesus loves them. Make them feel worthy and love through just a simple, authentic conversation because conversations can change lives.

Thank you for reading!!! I love you all!

Love, Quincy
