Hey y’all! Today’s blog is shorter because I just wanted to give you a glimpse into what our Wednesday Worship Nights can sometimes look like: poetry and writing. Worship doesn’t always have to be music and singing, it can be writing too! So, here’s what I wrote:)
I’m dancing.
My body flows to the rhythm of the world. Twisting and turning, I move as the world moves. My legs stretch, my body aches. The twisting and turning is too much. I feel lost in the movement, but not free.
I miss a step.
I fall.
But I don’t hit the ground.
I’m looking up at a cloudless, clear, blue sky. My hand is in Yours. I’m standing now, balancing my feet on Yours, my body leaning against Yours, like a young girl with her father.
Now we’re dancing.
The field of wild flowers around us, twisting and turning with the rhythm of Your unconditional love. I feel lost, lost in Your movement, lost in Your love.
But this time, I am free.
