Hello World!!!

My name is Quetta Branch and I am so overjoyed that God has called me to do the World Race!!!

A little bit about me:

I am 25 years old from Nashville, TN also living and working here. I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2015 and I currently work for the Sheriff’s Office here in Nashville. I also currently volunteer with CiViL which is a non-profit program of Touchstone Youth Resources. Where I  work with students to help them grow in their social and emotional development. Working with kids and giving back to the community brings me so much Joy and I’m just so glad that I get to be apart of their lives and show them how Jesus has impacted me! I currently attend church at Legacy where the community is great, and I recently started serving with kids on Sunday!

A little more about me:

About 8 months ago I rededicated my life to Christ and my life has forever been changed. I will always remember the words you need to spend time with Jesus ( A blog soon to come) because those words resonated with in me and jump started my relationship with God! While it is a scary thing to be giving up my job and my life here in Nashville I know that it is what God is calling me to do. A year ago, I would have never even consider doing anything of this magnitude, I didn’t even know what it meant to do missions. I am so excited to see how God will use me over these next couple of months and then overseas for 11 months in 2020!  Words can’t even describe how excited I am to build a team of ministry supporters to come along on this journey with me and grow the kingdom of God!!!

When I am not working or volunteering I like to spend time:

Listening to worship music (Hillsong and Tasha Cobbs are my favorite)

Spending time with God

Hiking

Hanging with my friends and family

Playing sports (volleyball, basketball)

At the pool
