At the beginning of launch, we were all given keys with words on them. The ones that made them spent time in prayer asking for a word from God for us to put on them.

My word is WILD.

I made this a joke as to say I will live ruthless this year and be a rule breaker, jump off of waterfalls, and so on. I knew that is not what God had intended, but it was at least funny to joke around with.

The other night during worship session, I was singing my heart out, loving every second of worship. I felt a heavy weight on my heart and immediately sat down asking God what it was. Turns out it was a word from God.

I pulled out my journal and just started writing. Here is what I wrote as the word from God:

“You may not understand the love I have for you completely yet, but I assure you that you can be free in my love and presence. You are free to live boldly in My name and for My purpose. You do not have to worry about being accepted by man, because I accept you and want you to walk freely in that. YOU ARE LOVED.”

I pulled out my Bible and felt God telling me to go to Romans 5. The passage is as follows:

“Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.”

I know that God has made me right, and I have that peace with Him. Since I have faith, Christ lets me walk in freedom, an undeserved privilege.

The next part in my journal is as follows:

“The world WILD does not mean rule breaker. It is freedom. Animals are considered wild because they are free to roam and follow their purposes. People will look at me as wild if I walk freely and boldly for the work of Jesus. I will look “out of the normal” because of my radical love for Jesus and how I walk that out.

So yeah, the word wild means to walk in His freedom, and I will surely be working through that this month.

Stay tuned for a video of preparing for launch!

In Christ,
