What does fully surrendering mean? Does it mean giving JUST your attention to someone? Maybe it means to give up half of your life. No. Surrendering is giving everything up in order to do or partake in something that requires EVERYTHING.

I knew that God had a bigger plan for my life. I knew that my current job was not my ultimate purpose. To share a bit about how I got to this point. I recently took a trip to Panama City, Florida to share Jesus with others. This trip was a little different than the other mission trips I have been on. This one was for another purpose. God needed to tell me something, He needed to show me things. I battled with it for the beginning of the week. All I wanted to do was do my part in painting the walls, go to worship, and go to bed. Although, the purpose of this trip had a greater impact. Mid-way through the week, I gave up on fighting. I told God that whatever He needed to tell me, I am ready to hear it. I prayed and told God I was done trying to get through life on my own. I was not happy with where I was and wanted something different. I told God that if He needed me to do something, or go somewhere, I would faithfully do it. That is where the World Race came into play.

God used friends, and family to show me that the World Race is exactly what He wanted me to pursue. He showed me that if I would be willing to go, He would provide for me, and care for me throughout the journey. God has done nothing but prove himself to me ever since I put in the application. It is hard to grasp that God wants to send me across the world, but I am not going to doubt Him. It is HIS plan, I am just following it!

You want a challenge? Give up. Stop trying to go through life on your own. SURRENDER EVERYTHING to God and watch what He can do! I used Isaiah 6:8 in my prayer to God. He asked, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” So I said, “Here I am. Send Me.”

Please pray for me as I take on this journey. It will not be easy, but I have no doubt that God will care for me. Also be sensitive to God as He may ask you to partner with me. Maybe not physically on the field, but financial support, and major prayer support.

Love you all,

Preston Robinson
