Bonjour! Sorry for taking so long to post the first blog since I left. The Wi-Fi here is not the greatest… BUT our time here has already been so fruitful and the Lord is at work doing some great and incredible stuff so far! Below is a quick little video of our training at launch, saying my final goodbyes to my parents, our travels to get to Paris, and bit of our first day here trying to make some good contacts for how we can help, serve, and love the refugees.  To hear even more stories and updates about what is going on, be sure to check out and follow the other people on my team and squad!

It is heartbreaking to hear some of these refugees stories and how poorly they have been treated. Their living condition is painful to see. We have begun to make some good relationships with some of the them and even had the opportunity to start sharing the gospel with them. God is working in many hearts and it is beautiful see.

Another ministry opportunity that we have is with people in the park that is very close to our airbnb. One lady gave her life to Christ the second night we were here! Ahhh so cool. God is good.

The Spirit is moving and I cannot wait to see what else He has in store! I will be posting more specific stories soon. Thanks for reading. Catch yall soon!

Prayer requests:

  • For the Spirit to continue to be at work
  • Direction for our ministry with the refugees and how we can best love and serve them
  • Boldness in conversations with everyone that we meet
  • That we would rely on Jesus for our strength
  • For each of our 4 teams to grow close and vulnerable with one another
  • Patience and good community between the 16 of us that are living in this small space together
