During our adventure day we were finally able to escape from the noise, smell, and busyness of being in the city of Paris. The city is great and all, but being in the country, basking in Gods creation, was literally and figuratively, a breath of fresh air. Being next to the cliffs made me feel so small, yet overwhelmed that the Lord would create such beauty for us to enjoy. One of the beaches where we were had rocks instead of sand. It was very different, but the sound it made as the waves crashed on the shore was soothing. The stars at night were glowing, and the Lord even gave us a few shooting stars. The water was ice cold, but refreshing to swim in. It was a great time to take a step back and reflect on how He has been at work here in France, a time to grow closer to several of my squad mates, and a time to worship God for His stunning creation.
Prayer Requests:
- Unity within my team
- Direction for ministry with the last few days that we have here in Paris
- Discipline with growing in my intimacy with the Lord
Here is a look at what all we did! Hope you enjoy!
