So, Team MOR3 is in Dzuwa, Malawi! Don’t try to look it up
because you will not find it. We are literally in the middle of nowhere and
it’s beautiful! We came in on Monday evening to the MOST beautiful sunset my
God has ever painted for me. I kid you not, most beautiful one I’ve seen in my
entire life. This was two nights after hearing that my God has awoken my
family! I could hear my Father saying to the enemy, “Let go of My sons.” And I
could see Satan’s hand being loosed!!! Haha!!

Well, the title of this blog is Cynthia Joy and I’m sure
you’re still wondering where Cynthia Joy is… good question, I’ll to try to
answer that here.

Our last week in Nkhota Kota, Malawi we spent one day,
Thursday, doing evangelism and as we were making our way to the next house a
man grabbed our attention and asked us to pray for his daughter.

He runs back to his house and we follow him. As we were
sitting in front of their house he carries out this beautiful, beautiful (this
has been my word for a couple months now) beautiful girl, probably about 6
years old. Her name is Cynthia. He begins to set her down in front of us and I
notice that she puts no weight onto her feet. They fold under her like a
ragdolls would. Clearly she needs prayer for her feet. She has the driest skin
covering her feet and she looks absolutely miserable. He tells us she hasn’t
walked in 4 years and she has malaria. I feel her head and she is BURNING up.
So, with my hands on her feet Michelle, Alexandra, and I begin to pray for her
healing. A few minutes later, we stand up and speak blessings over her parents,
over her father Abraham. We mention the faith of Abraham in the Bible and claim
healing. With nothing miraculous and everything the way it started we leave to
go visit another home to tell them about Jesus.

The following Sunday, I get to preach at the same Baptist
church. I get to sing also, Trading My Sorrows is a trademark for our team.
Haha. We get back to our house and we start to form a team that wants to go to
internet or the lake, I can’t remember (not important), and two women stop us
in our front yard. Angela and Violet stop us! These were two women that we
spent almost an hour outside their homes, just before praying for Cynthia.
These women and some others were Muslims that my Father spoke over and said,
“Let go of My Daughter!” Freakin awesome. Well we didn’t go to the lake or
wherever, but we stayed and talked with them, they wanted to let us know about
their problems so we could pray over them and declare freedom! As we were
talking to them, I looked out into our front yard and I watched Cynthia, who
hadn’t walked in 4 years, walk up to our front
porch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God is ridiculous.

Three days after praying for this little girl she walks up
to our house with her father Abraham!!!

Now, you might be wondering why this blog is title Cynthia
Joy…. Good question, I’ll to try to answer that here.

My youth pastor from high school has a daughter named C.J.
for Cynthia Joy. I never associate joy with Cynthia because we only call her
C.J. When I heard the name of Abraham’s daughter, Cynthia, all I could think of
was Joy. As she sat on our front porch and we prayed over her more, after she
WALKED to us, I felt her head and her fever is completely GONE! But my heart
absolutely, totally breaks for her. Her eyes were filled with misery. Alexandra
picks her up and puts her in her lap and feels something on her stomach. She
asks if it’s okay to lift up her shirt and Cynthia has something protruding out
of her stomach. Apparently it’s something with her umbilical chord. Whoever cut
her umbilical chord at birth did something wrong and she has been living with
this since birth. Every now and then she gets food caught in this growth and
because of the pain she won’t eat for three days. With tears streaming down my
face and her face we pray over her.

I’ve heard this is a minor operation in the states but
Cynthia’s family does not have the money for transportation 200 km (120 miles)
to Lilongwe, Malawi and they do not have the money to cover any sort of medical
bills. I really have no clue what God intends to do with Cynthia’s life, but I
know this: She is a daughter of God. He has not created her to live without
joy. Here’s where you come into play, it’s a simple prayer.

“Cynthia, joy is coming. It’s inside of me and I want you to
have it! Father, give Cynthia the joy You have given me! Give Cynthia whatever
it is You have given me in order to give her. Amen”

Just pray, I don’t really know exactly what can be done in
this, I just know that I don’t call her Cynthia Joy for nothin. Everywhere she
walks, she will bring His joy with her. Everywhere she runs, she will bring His
joy with her. Oh yeah, I was prayin for this little girl one morning, more like
the Spirit was prayin (I don’t even own my words anymore, much less my life)
and that girl’s gonna run in the Olympics. Call me crazy but that girl’s gonna
run in the Olympics!
