Would you like to see
my face?

The time has finally come, I have
been in India since the 3rd of January and launch has quickly come,
and gone. It has been amazing to see God show up already in some powerful ways.
The sights, the smells, and most of all the people of India have already
captivated my heart.

I remember at training camp asking God to break my heart
with the things that break his heart, I also remember screaming BRING IT ON!
Well I can assure you that God laughed at me when I said those things because
he has already started to break me. Launch was in Hyderabad, India, where we
discovered what our first ministry will be. My team (Ripple Effect) will be in Ongole,
India working with Sarah’s Covenant Home’s for abandoned children with special
needs. There is also talk of ministering in some of the local villages. My
heart cannot describe how ridiculously blessed I am to have these
opportunities. Can I just say thank you to all of the beautiful faces that
blessed me financially, and also through prayer. It is because of your
willingness to listen to God that I am sitting here writing this blog. I now
have the chance to care for these beautiful children, and share Gods love with
them. I get to minister to these villages where hope is just waiting. I am so
blessed.

I leave today (
1/7/11) at 8:00pm, we are being transported 7 ½ hours by bus. Haha…I keep
telling myself “welcome to the crazy life” because so far already this
experience has been crazy – awesome.

Now I am sure you are wondering
the significance of my title?? Please let me share.

Yesterday our
teams had our first Adventure Day!!! It was friggin awesome! We took an auto to
the arts and crafts market about 30min away from our compound. Let me just talk
about auto’s for a second, they are so RIDICULOUS!!!! We feared for our lives
about every second we were on them, but at the same time they were so much fun.
Anyways when we arrived to the aacm we were greeted by 5 or 6 muslim women who
asked if they could join us as we walked around. We agreed that they could and
that is when the fun began. There was one girl in particular that I could just
sense had her eye on me the whole time. I was a little freaked out not knowing
if I smelled bad or what the deal was. After awhile of walking around the girls
asked me and my friend Ramie if we would like to go on a boat ride…haha so we
agreed just for the heck of it.

PS: Mom don’t
freak out all was well…lol

So we get to the
boat site which consisted of broken down paddle boats in a very dirty pond, we
proceed in buying our tickets and waiting for about 3min to board. During that
3min the girl that had been eyeing me the whole time tells me I have the most
beautiful eyes, but the best part…she calls me hot, sexy boy!!! Well now I am
really freaking out about getting on this boat but it is to late to turn back
now. Needless to say she confesses her love for me on the boat and it was
totally awkward. So after we finally get off the boat she makes me take her
number on my hand and on paper. As if all of this is not bizarre, what she did
next blew my mind!!! She took off her veil and showed me her face. WHAT??? So
me and Ramie take off and that was that.

Overall adventure
day was just plain bizarre, but it was also hilarious…haha

I don’t know when
I will be able to post this blog due to internet, but I will ASAP.

I love you guys,
and miss everyone back home.

Be blessed.
