On July 26th, I will be leaving America and heading to Taiwan with a missions group from Christ Temple Church. I am excited for the journey ahead, and look forward to doing God’s work on foreign soil.

I am so excited to share with you the opportunity God brought into my life only one short month ago. In the Month of June I was given the opportunity to go on a missions trip to Taiwan. As you could imagine I was ecstatic to be given this opportunity. What I didn’t know was that I had to raise close to $2,600 in less than two months!!! You see the rest of the group had been raising their money for months before I came along. I came into the picture because a couple of people from the group felt like I was called to go on the trip, I knew this was my confirmation; and God was calling me. I agreed to raise my money by July 26th and off I went, running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to raise my money. To my surprise money started pouring into my life; God was showing me that when he calls he provides. I am happy to report that at this time I have currently raised all of my money and I am ready to take flight. I have learned to trust in God when I know he has called me into a ministry, and trust me life is much easier if you let Him do all the work!!!

While I am on my missions trip I will be staying about two hours away from Taipei City, Taiwan. Our group is setting up Vacation Bible School on the grounds of a small school in the village where we will be staying. I am in charge of leading praise and worship; also I will be leading a small group devotion in the evening. I can’t wait to worship with the people of Taiwan and see revival break out in the midst of VBS.

I will be gone approximately 11 days on my missions trip. While I am on my God-ordained- trip I would be honored if you would pray for me as I journey to and fro Taiwan. Because I came into the group late I will be traveling alone both there and back. Besides prayer for myself and the group, I ask that you pray that God will move in a mighty way while we are ministering to the People of Taiwan.

I look forward to sharing my testimony with you after I return from Taiwan.

God bless,

Philip C.
