Transform Asia

This month we are working with Transform Asia, in Kampong
Chhnang, Cambodia. Be sure to check out their website which is posted below.

This month is dedicated to teaching the girls English,
computers, guitar, piano, dance and jewelry making.

We live on base with about 20 girls who have been rescued
from forced sex trafficking. These women are beautiful and it has been amazing
working alongside of them this month. It blows my mind to see these women, who
have faced unimaginable pain in their lives, laugh and smile with so much joy
every day. The only way to explain it is through Christ, these women have been
set free from the bondage of this world. They are in love with the Father, they
worship him every morning and He greets them and calls them by name, He gently
whispers in their ears “I love you” hugs them and sends them off for the day.
The women here are free from their past, all they have to live for is today –
and it is a beautiful day.

It has been so much fun teaching these girls how to use a
computer. They are brilliant students, they listen intently, and they study
their vocabulary words, and practice what they are taught. Today 9/12/2011 I am
starting guitar lessons with the girls and children. I am excited to share my
passion with them!
