It is something profound to find a church that is as loving and spirit-filled as mine. I attend Christ Temple Church located in Huntington, WV.
A wonderful church:
I wake up every Sunday morning anticipating the worship, and Pastor’s words to come. Christ Temple is the most power-packed church I have ever attended. We have a nationally renown choir that leads praise and worship every Sunday. I have a Pastor who is nationally renown, even world renown. The congregation is loving and the spirit of God is prevalent. This is the church that changed my life 6 short years ago, my relationship with God has grown from that of a child; into a man. Christ Temple Church is changing the Tri-State; we are changing the world.
A wonderful Pastor:
Behind every great church lies an extraordinary pastor, and for me Pastor Chuck Lawrence is that man. I have never experienced a pastor like Pastor Chuck, he is equipped with the full armor of God, yet he is down to earth and wants to have a relationship with his congregation. I first hand understand the love P. Chuck feels for his congregation.
Back in 2007 P. Chuck took me in under his wings and allowed me to stay with his family to attend Huntington High School in Huntington, WV. My family at the time lived in Winfield, WV (which is about 45 minutes away from Huntington) where I did not feel comfortable going to school. P. Chuck and his family saw my need and helped me fulfill it. For an entire year I stayed with P. Chuck and his loving family. Still to this day I consider P. Chuck and his family as my own family. I have gone through many hardships in my life, and P. Chuck has always been there to help me through and build me back up.
Even when I left the church for almost two years P. Chuck always called to check up on me, he never forced religion on me, or condemned me; instead he simply loved me no matter what I had done. I thank God everyday for such a loving manly influence in my life. On the other end P. Jamie Chuck’s wife has also been such a blessing in my life. I have had the privilege to travel to India, where we ministered to broken hearts and love-starved people. Jamie is the womanly influence in my life and she teaches me to be humble, and caring no matter what the circumstance. Needless to say, I am a blessed man because of this loving family.

Christ Temple Church is a spirit-filled Interdenominational church with members that come from a wide range of denominational backgrounds. It was birthed out of a revival in 1957, that brought the “Day of Pentecost” experience to many in the Tri-state area from diverse denominations. The church quickly grew under the direction of the late Pastor Roland Gardner.
God opened the heart of the church with His compassion and love, and many lives were filled with the power of His Holy Spirit. He continues to use Christ Temple to bring His anointing to people of varied backgrounds and to confirm that His Holy Spirit has found a resting place here at Christ Temple. His love and acceptance prevails at Christ Temple as we continue to worship Him and grow into the vision and promises He has given us.
Today, the progression of this vision continues under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Chuck Lawrence. Our recent move from our former location on Adams Avenue and the completion of our new church facility has been a testimony of our God’s faithfulness.
