"Stoked"

This word does not even begin to embody my current emotion. To make a long story short, I am incredibly excited about how God is calling me into missions, and especially The World Race. However, first and foremost, allow me to tell you a little bit about me and how I came to be a part of the September 2013 Route 1 team.

My name is Phil and I'm 23 years old. Originally from South Boston, Virginia, I was raised by my two loving parents, alongside my three younger siblings. After graduating high school, I moved to Harrisonburg, VA to attend James Madison University. While there I obtained a B.S. in Media Arts & Design and Theater. I feel in love with the Valley and decided to stay in the area post-graduation.

Over the past year and a half, I have served as a Youth Assistant at First Presbyterian Church. God definitely pushed and stretched me in many ways during my time there and I am looking forward to this new challenge He has placed before me.

I cannot begin to thank you all enough for your support, both prayerfully and financially. I pray that the Lord leads each of you and that we all remain open to His constant call. I would love to be praying for you as well, so do not hesitate getting into contact with me.

I look forward to keeping you updated my launch date approaches and even throughout The World Race!
