God has been doing some incredible things the past month. I have had the privilege of sharing my faith with several people and seeing God work in some amazing ways. I want to share with you a few stories that God has allowed me to be a part of.
Tung has become a really good friend. While is Vietnam I had the privilege to talk with Tung several times about Christ and faith in God. On one such occasion we were sitting down and talking about the universe. This ended up turning into a conversation about God. God gave me the opportunity to share Tung about how I find joy in Christ in this life and I could not imagine living any other way. Tung responded by saying that he too wanted that joy and that he could see the difference in my life. Though Tung did not pray a prayer of salvation at that time and he still had some reservations, I believe that God will use other Christians to lead this man to Christ.
Wu is another friend that God had given me the honor of speaking about Him with. One day Wu and I went out to lunch and talked for over three hours about the Gospel of Christ. Wu, a self-proclaimed atheist, has difficulties with believing in God because there is so much pain in the world. God was able to use my story of pain to speak to him about these things and challenge his beliefs. Upon parting ways Wu told me that he learned much about God from my testimony and I believe that God is calling this man to faith in Him.
Young is a college student that God brought into my life. On many occasions Young would take me on tours around the city. We were able to spend lots of time together, and during one of our excursions I was able to explain the Gospel of Christ to Young for the first time in his life. Being from a Buddhist family in a culture where family is more important than anything else it is hard for Young to accept the truth that Jesus is the one true way to life. However, he was very interested in learning more and I believe God will also call this man into his kingdom.
These three men that God gave me the privilege to be friends with are all searching for more in life. God is bringing believers into their lives and putting them in positions where his truth is reverberating in their minds. He has great plans to bring many to know him. I ask you to please join me in praying for these three men; Tung, Wu, and Young; that God may continue to reveal himself to them and that they will come to know that absolute overwhelming joy and love that comes from having a relationship with Jesus Christ.
